Laura Burak is a registered dietitian, foodie, and yoga enthusiast based in Long Island. Her passion for nutrition began in her teens when she started cooking healthier meals for her family. Laura holds a Bachelor’s in Nutrition from Penn State and completed her dietetic internship and Master’s degree at NYU.

Ashley Jones 

Ashley Jones is a single mother, four-time Daytime Emmy-nominated actress, and now writer, director, and producer. Best known as Dr. Bridget Forrester on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL, she’s also appeared in GENERAL HOSPITAL, HBO’s True Blood, and recent series like FOR ALL MANKIND and THE RESIDENT. Alongside her acting career, Ashley is passionate about connecting with women through her partnership with PatientsLikeMe /WomenLikeMe and her involvement with Step Up Women’s Network.

Kathyrn is a highly experienced sexual and reproductive health educator, trainer, and postpartum doula with over ten years of expertise in leading community health programs and supporting new families. Her passion for guiding parents through the postpartum transition occurred after the birth of her daughter.  

Amanda Powell, MD

Amanda Powell is an award-winning physician and leader in obesity medicine. Dr. Powell has exclusively practiced obesity medicine for more than 15 years. She is currently the Chair of the Lifestyle Health Division at Beth Israel-Lahey Health. She powerfully combines the ability to develop strong human connections with creating innovative, scalable solutions to support more people struggling with obesity and metabolic disease. Dr. Powell is an alumnus of Brown University where she earned her undergraduate and medical degrees. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess and her fellowship in Obesity Medicine at Boston University.  

Marybeth Sherrin, Author of My Hungry Head

Marybeth “MB” is passionate about changing the narrative around how we transform our health as individuals, communities, and organizations. For more than 20 years, she has studied, contributed to, and advocated for a shift in how we build, and repair, the mindset needed to lead happy and healthy lives. After her training at University of Massachusetts/Boston & Harvard University, her work now spans the United States, Canada, and Australia. She has produced live events such as Healthy Bodies, Healthy Lives featuring Carson Kressley, host of Love Your Body Naked, and created transformative experiences for groups & communities based on her book My Hungry Head: Dismantling the Diet Prison
