Letrozole (Femara)
Letrozole or Femara, is an anti-cancer drug, however it can be used as an ovulation stimulant for women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) or unexplained infertility.
How letrozole works
Letrozole suppresses estrogen levels which produce and release follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH).
